SAIC’s (NYSE: SAI) Defense Solutions Group achieved the Carnegie Mellon University’s Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI) Capability Maturity Model Integration for Development (CMMI-DEV) Maturity Level 5 rating.
Level 5 is the highest rating for rating commercial and defense industry best practices and mature processes for systems and software management and engineering. The appraisal considered a number of factors, including systems engineering and integration, hardware and software development and maintenance disciplines across the organization.
