CSC’s Jim Sheaffer Discusses Firm’s 9-Figure EPA Win

CSC (NYSE: CSC) signed a deal with the EPA to continue comprehensive mission support operations for the Water Security Division within the Office of Water.

The agreement carries an eight-month base period and four one-year options for an estimated value of $100 million.

According to the firm, “CSC will continue to provide comprehensive scientific, engineering, emergency management, risk assessment, training and regulation development support to WSD.”

“We have worked diligently with the EPA’s Water Security Division for seven years to ensure the nation’s water resources are protected from all threats, both intentional attacks and natural hazards, ” said James W. Sheaffer, president of CSC’s North American Public Sector. “CSC’s science, engineering and technology solutions division brings the agency a broad range of specialized expertise ranging from molecular biology to modeling and from communications to consequence management.”
