SAIC Unwraps SPAWAR Contract

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) won prime contract by the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Center Pacific to support of “ashore and afloat networks and information systems” with engineering services.

The ID/IQ contract has a three year base term and a pair of one-year options and a $45 million ceiling value.

“SAIC has a demonstrated background in developing engineering technologies and solutions that support information systems and network technology programs, ” said Tom Baybrook, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. “We look forward to providing innovative engineering support that enables SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific to meet existing and future afloat and ashore network mission objectives.”
