Attain business-development pro Mike Fox spoke with ExecutiveBiz about his practice and shared his advice for small businesses in the government-contracting market.
“A lot of times, small businesses lead with the fact that they’re a small business .. or they’re an 8(a) … or they’re woman-owned, ” said Fox. “My advice, ” he says, “would be to lead with your strength, your capabilities, your experience, and your resources … impress your customer or partner with those, and then you can say, ‘Oh, by the way, we’re a small business, too.’”
