L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) has named Tony Smeraglinolo to the newly created role of executive vice president of L-3 Services Group (LSG).
Smeraglinolo will lead LSG’s strategic development and growth plans, including new business and program pursuits and efficiency initiatives under Steve Kantor, senior vice president and president of L-3’s Services Group.
“Tony has a wealth of experience in the technical services market, a strong business acumen and a thorough understanding of the L-3 and LSG cultures, ” Kantor said. “He has extensive and successful mergers and acquisitions experience and a demonstrated ability to profitably grow businesses.”
He worked at L-3 as president of its Intelligence Solutions division from 2007 -08.
Most recently, Smeraglinolo led the Global Stabilization and Development Solutions division of DynCorp International. His career also includes stops at DRS Technologies and Harris Corporation.
