SAIC (NYSE: SAI) won a task order to support hosting services for the EPA’s National Computer Center.
The deal has a one-year base term and five one-year options, and could reach a total value of $42 million.
The firm will focus on server, storage, high-performance computing operations, facility management and disaster recovery services.
“SAIC has a long history of support to the EPA and understands the important role information technology infrastructure plays in support of the agency’s mission to protect human health and safeguard the environment, ” said Doug Wagoner, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. “We look forward to providing environmentally friendly, cost-efficient and agile data center services to EPA’s programs.”
