DynCorp International is set to serve as the title sponsor for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Golf Classic.
The tournament will take place Nov. 7-12, 2010, at the Sands Resorts in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Proceeds will support maintenance of the memorial, the annual Candlelight Vigil, research and the campaign to build the National Law Enforcement Museum.
“When people think of the great sacrifices that are made as part of U.S. foreign policy and national security engagements worldwide, the civilian police officer is often forgotten, ” said Don Ryder, vice president of DI’s training and mentoring programs. “But the dedication that our civilian police show in everything they do – whether at home in the U.S., or deployed overseas to train police in developing countries and conflict areas – is remarkable. This tournament provides us with an opportunity to support a great cause and thank the law enforcement community for its service.”
