General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) is set to negotiate a contract with the Israeli Ministry of Defense for the creation of Merkava Armored Personnel Carriers (APC).
The firm expects a deal to be in place by the end of the year.
According to the firm, “production will be performed at the Joint Systems Manufacturing Center in Lima, Ohio. The base contract will be completed by March 2015 or extend to November 2019 if all options are exercised.”
