Versar, Inc. (NYSE Amex: VSR) won an $11.8 million task order for continued Construction Management and Quality Assurance operations in Afghanistan.
With the contract, Versar will offer engineering support, construction management and quality assurance operations in Afghanistan through November 2010 for the Air Force Center for Engineering and Environment (AFCEE).
“This contract extension clearly demonstrates the confidence our Government has in the many services Versar provides, ” CEO Tony Otten said. “We are privileged to continue our construction management and quality assurance support for reconstruction in Afghanistan.”
