SAIC Inks Navy Surface Warfare Center Support Deal

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) claimed a task order from the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division to provide engineering and technical support to NSWC’s Power, Energy and Interconnect Technologies Division.

According to the firm, “the task order has a two year base period of performance, three one-year options and a total value of more than $37 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily in Crane, Ind. The task order was awarded under the U.S. Navy’s SeaPort-e contract.”

“We look forward to broadening our support of NSWC Crane by working together to bring forth new advanced power technologies, giving our warfighters more tools to help accomplish their critical missions, ” said Tom Baybrook, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
