Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) claimed a $17.6 million order from the U.S. Department of Defense for Falcon III AN/PRC-152(C) multiband handheld radio systems and accessories.
According to the firm, “the Army is acquiring the AN/PRC-152(C) to provide soldiers with advanced handheld communications capabilities for portable line-of-sight and beyond line-of-sight applications. The radio also serves as the dismountable transceiver in the AN/VRC-110 vehicular amplifier adapter system. The multiband, multimission AN/PRC-152(C) is the most widely-fielded JTRS-approved handheld radio with more than 100, 000 units deployed.”
