Job Description
RTSC is seeking a Business Analyst to manage budget preparation including estimate at complete (EAC) information on Department of Defense contracts and be responsible for cost monitoring and control for the Support Missions functional area.
Specific areas of responsibility include the following:
Develops work breakdown structures (WBS), tracks and monitors project costs, sales and earnings.
Provides periodic variance analysis and month/year-end close reporting and monitoring, working capital monitoring and analysis, program financial forecasting and contract closeouts.
Ensures program compliance with corporate policies including Sarbanes/Oxley requirements.
Develops small proposals for changes or continuations to current programs.
Works closely with Finance Manager to tie out forecasts during month end and quarter close.
