ICx Pens Hawaii Transportation Deal

ICx Technologies (Nasdaq GM: ICXT) won a systems manager contract worth up to $11 million by the City and County of Honolulu for a Joint Traffic Management Center (JTMC).

According to ICx, “the JTMC is meant to provide active traffic management functions, to improve transportation safety, efficiency and the quality of life on O’ahu. ICx will support the design and implementation of the technologies and systems within the JTMC building that enable operations. The contract is currently funded for $2.7 million.”

“We are proud to have been chosen to support this important, forward-thinking project, ” said Glen Fromm, general manager of ICx Transportation. “We look forward to working with the City of Honolulu and HDOT, providing state-of-the-art systems and services.”
