Anthony Hess on SAIC’s Substance Abuse Counseling BPA Win

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) picked up a (BPA) by the U.S. Department of Defense to continue to provide substance abuse counseling services to adolescent family members of active duty U.S. military personnel.

According to the firm, “the single-award BPA has a six-month base period of performance, four one-year options and a ceiling value of $80 million. Work will be performed in the U.S. and at military facilities overseas.”

“We have served this customer for nearly 23 years and find our support for the behavioral health needs of the children of our active duty personnel to be especially rewarding, ” said Anthony Hess, Ph.D., SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. “The services we provide support mission readiness and retention goals, strengthen quality of life and enhance family relations.”
