Tuesday’s Featured Job: Cyber Architect at NGC

The Cyber Architect will lead the technical strategy and engineering direction for the Intelligence Systems Division’s Cyber mission area strategy. Key technical areas include computer network operations; advanced networking and telecommunications; information assurance and integrity; information security; software engineering; information management; identity management; and data exploitation and visualization; as applied to cyber security operations and mission management. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to developing new innovative concepts of operation, future state architectures, evaluating relevant technology and projecting needs for new technology, defining of measures of effectiveness and performance, and performing systems and enterprise-level modeling and simulation. This position will be part of a high-performing team of intelligence mission area architects and will directly support the Cyber mission area strategy team across the Intelligence Systems enterprise. Assets include: * Advanced (MS and/or PhD) technical degree; * Strategic and visionary in nature, able to see the big picture and capable of identifying relevant technology needs and solutions; * Practical experience with the following: * ”Solutioneering’’: translating customer mission needs to system requirements and potential solution approaches * Large systems and system-of-systems architecture * End-to-end System and Subsystems Integration & Test * Product line development, tech insertion, and maintenance * Integrated life cycle engineering. Minimum Qualifications: * Fifteen years of broad technical experience, with concentration in the design, development, integration, implementation, and operations of complex information and computer network operations systems and technologies * BS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering discipline * Demonstrated ability to earn and maintain the respect of strong technical and intelligence mission-oriented staff * Effective communicator, capable of effectively translating and presenting complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical management and customers, through presentations and written media * Mastery of systems engineering discipline, to include proven practical experience in the following, preferably for large programs * Requirements interpretation, definition, and allocation * Architectural definition and analysis as part of system design * Risk identification and mitigation * Systems and subsystem integration & test. Minimum security clearance: Top Secret clearance with current SSBI is strongly preferred Security Clearance Required.
