Harris Claims IT Task Order from Air Force

Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS) won a $7 million, one-year IT services task order for the Headquarters Air Force (HAF) Information Management Enterprise (IME) Business Solutions Software Development Services Support program.

As part of the deal, the Harris team of Ascentium, ATS Corporation, Capability Plus Solutions Inc. and IndigoIT will provide on-site technical services for new and existing software development within HAF-IME. Harris will provide business process engineering, enterprise architecture, requirements management, graphical user interface design, technical writing, software engineering, software test management and systems administration.

“We’re pleased to work with HAF-IME Business Solutions Division on another software development support project, ” said Mike Deloney, vice president, Air Force Programs for Harris. “Our past relationship, disciplined approach and effective use of existing frameworks and patterns, along with careful planning and execution, make the Harris team uniquely qualified to deliver these services.”
