Greg Garcia Set to Join ISF as Strategic Advisor of North America

According to TheNewNewInternet.com, The Information Security Forum (ISF) has announced that Greg Garcia has joined as Strategic Advisor for North America. Garcia is the former DHS Assistant Secretary for Cyber Security and Communications, serving from 2006-2008.

In his new role, Garcia will help to support the effort to bring more companies in the US and Canada into ISF membership. He will target companies in the financial, healthcare, retail, telecom and IT sectors. He will also look to raise awareness about ISF and develop new relationships with government agencies and industry groups.

“While many major U.S. organizations are already ISF Members, I am eager to see more leading North American corporations contribute to and benefit from the ISF’s unmatched portfolio of research, security tools and methodologies for advanced information security risk management, ” Garcia said.
