Small consultancy Avow Consulting Partners Inc., an Oak Hill-Va.-based firm that specializes in project management, has been awarded a $3.9 million contract by the VA to assist management of the Virtual Lifetime Electronic Record (VLER) project.
Avow is set to design, develop and provide program management services for VA’s VLER Enterprise Program Management Office over a total of three and a half years at the end of February.
VLER is a major goal for the Obama administration. The program would maintain all administrative and medical information of military service members from their first day of service throughout the rest of their lives.
