FGM announced the acquisition of Edge Technologies’ Enterprise Services Group (ESG). Edge Technologies’ ESG delivers high end engineering services for the Intelligence Community and Law enforcement groups. Their main focus is cyber security.
FGM’s CEO, Scott Gessay, said: “The ESG team is a group of highly cleared and very talented engineers. This acquisition immediately provides FGM with penetra- tion into key Intelligence Community customer areas that have been previously difficult to break into. In addition, our plan is to extend the reach of Data Alche- mist by offering it to our existing customer base.”
The acquisition will bring FGM into the Intelligence Community and provide new opportunities to the Law enforcement agencies. Edge Technologies owns a few cyber security patents that are beneficial for FGM.
ESG under FGM will become a new division and will be named the Advanced Systems Division. The former CEO of ESG will lead this division.
