News- $27 Million Contract Opens Up 30 New Jobs at Catapult Technology

Bethesda, Md.-based Catapult Technology has signed a 30-month, $27 million deal with the Department of Defense Washington Headquarters Services for an e-business enhancement and management project that could lead to 30 new jobs.

Catapult currently has about 700 employees, and new staff will include software developers and engineers. The company has previously provided the Pentagon with similar IT services under smaller contracts. Catapult also recently won dual contracts with the Environmental Protection Agency and National Science Foundation valued at a total of $5.1 million.

Slager, CEO, chairman and founder of Catapult, said “The Washington Headquarters Services ensures that the National Capital Area’s [Department of Defense] facilities run smoothly, which in turn means the safety and security of our citizens is protected. We’re excited and honored to oversee this project.”
