Contract Award- SAIC – $235 Million – NASA

NASA has awarded SAIC a contract extension for work on the United NASA IT Services contract. The contract extension, worth $235 million, has a base period of 8 months with a 6 month optional extension.

Under the contract, SAIC will provide IT services to the Marshall Space Flight Center and other NASA centers. Services SAIC will provide include IT security, integrated enterprise management and digitial television.

Dan Harris, senior VP and UNITeS program manager, said “It’s an honor to have our performance recognized by this contract extension. The MSFC and enterprise-wide services we provide are continuing to help NASA leverage technology to achieve greater efficiencies and cost savings.”

Day & Zimmermann Lands $93M Modification on Army Mortar Cartridge Supply Contract

The U.S. Army has awarded Day & Zimmermann a one-year, $92.7M contract modification to produce 60mm mortar cartridges. D&Z secured $7.7M at the time of award, the Department of Defense said Friday.
