The Army Aviation and Missile Command has awarded SAIC a follow on task order to provide engineering support and professional services to the Army Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center. The indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity order is for five years and is worth a potential $848 million.
Under the contract, SAIC will provide software engineering and life cycle systems support. The support provided by SAIC will help the Army better integrate equipment and technologies. The Army AMRDEC SED supports the Army’s acquisition, R&D efforts and sustainment for high-tech weapons systems. John Gully, Senior VP and business unit general manager, said “We look forward to continuing our support for this important customer as they provide mission critical systems and software engineering expertise to support weapon systems over their life cycle.”
