The Department of Defense Security Service has awarded American Systems a $16 million contract to provide support for its call center. The Defense Security Service (DSS) awarded the fixed price contract with one base year with four one year options.
Under the contract, American Systems will provide DSS callers with procedural and process expertise surrounding the National Industrial Security Program along with the requirements for investigation of the DoD Personnel Security Program and other regulations, policies and manuals. The DSS provides security support services to the military and over twenty federal agencies. William C.
