ServerVault acquisition means expanded solutions portfolio for Carpathia Hosting

Yesterday, managed hosting services company Carpathia Hosting announced an expanded portfolio of secure, compliant hosting solutions designed specifically for federal civilian and defense agencies through its recent acquisition of ServerVault. It also announced the creation of Carpathia Government Solutions (CGS), a business unit focused on delivering secure, compliant and innovative hosting solutions engineered for the federal market.

CGS will leverage innovation driven by Carpathia Hosting’s commercial product management and operations teams to deliver market-leading secure and compliant solutions specific to federal agency requirements.

“Combining ServerVault’s experience in delivering secure, compliant solutions with Carpathia’s existing federal expertise, solidifies our leadership position in providing the most comprehensive suite of hosting solutions for the federal market, ” said Carpathia CEO Peter Weber.  “With the launch of CGS, we are advancing our commitment to drive innovation in the areas of security and compliance for our federal customers.”

“One huge differentiator for Carpathia is that our offering is compliant by design, and — unlike other hosting companies — requires no additional ‘fit-up’, supplemental costs or implementation effort to achieve government certification and accreditation.  We have successfully achieved an ATO for diverse mission-critical government programs, supporting a range of environments including development, production and disaster recovery/COOP, ” said company CTO Jon Greaves.
