Lockheed flight transportation expert Rachel Jackson named to ATCA Board of Directors

Yesterday, Rachel Jackson, director of Transportation Programs at the Lockheed Martin Washington Operations office, has been elected to the Air Traffic Control Association (ATCA) Board of Directors. She will serve a 2-year director-at-large term that commences immediately.

A 14-year veteran of Lockheed Martin, Jackson has also chaired ATCA’s Public Relations Committee and serves on the organization’s Awards Committee. She advises on all Lockheed Martin air traffic management programs and contracts that support the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration’s major modernization efforts. These include terminal, en route and oceanic automation programs; enhanced airspace security programs; satellite navigation programs; and the Automated Flight Service Station program managed by Lockheed Martin Flight Services.

“We look forward to the outstanding aviation industry knowledge, policy and legislative expertise Rachel will bring to the board, ” said ATCA President Peter F. Dumont.

Jackson also chairs the Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) Unmanned Airspace Systems (UAS) Subcommittee, under the Civil Aviation Council.
