To study climage change, Schultz changes jobs

Yesterday, ICF International announced that Dr. Peter Schultz is joining its team as a Principal in the Energy, Climate, and Transportation practice to focus on climate change impacts and adaptation strategies. Schultz comes to ICF after serving five years as drector of the U.S. Global Change Research Program Office (USGCRP). There, he was coordinating and integrating the 13 departments and agencies involved in the $2.0B federal global change research program.

“We are delighted that Peter has decided to join ICF’s climate change adaptation team, ” said Anne Choate, head of ICF’s adaptation group. “His qualifications in the deployment of climate risk assessment and risk management approaches, combined with his first-hand experience integrating climate science and decision support, are vital when designing and implementing successful adaptation strategies.”

“I’m thrilled to join the ICF team, ” Schultz said. “Its proven track record and diverse set of strengths have placed it in a perfect position to meet the rapidly growing needs of the federal government, states, and the private sector to prepare for both the threats and opportunities presented by climate change.”
