On Thursday, Sept. 10 Virginia gubernatorial candidates Bob McDonnell and Creigh Deeds will speak at a monthly luncheon hosted by the Potomac Officers Club (POC). The event is to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in McLean, Va.
McDonnell, the former Virginia attorney general, and Deeds, the 25th-District senator from Bristol, will address issues pertaining to the state and its role as the center of government contracting and its effect on the local job market, as well as infrastructure and the state’s economy. While the candidates will field questions, they will not comment on each others remarks.
The POC is a non-profit membership organization that serves to connect the region’s senior executives exclusively.
