Today, CGI Group, Inc. announced that Richard B. Evans, has joined the CGI Board of Directors. Evans recently retired after a run as CEO of Rio Tinto Alcan and Alcan, and he currently serves as chairman of the board of the International Aluminium Institute. Evans graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and also holds a Master’s in management from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.“We are very pleased to welcome Dick to the CGI Board of Directors, †said CGI founder and executive chairman Serge Godin. “His vast experience in the global market place will contribute to the execution of our strategy.
