On Monday, CA, Inc. announced the release of newest version of CA Database Management r12 for DB12 for z/OS, its top mainframe database management solution. The update includes enhancements for performance management, database administration, and backup and recovery—including new options that give database administrators even greater control of their DB2 environments.The new version is designed to help customers utilize computing capacity more efficiently, solve database performance problems more quickly, and derive greater value from DB2® 9 for z/OS®.
