Subsystem Technologies to Support BearingPoint with Passive RFID Engineering Services


Subsystem Technologies, Inc. will support BearingPoint, Inc. by providing passive Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technical engineering services to the U.S. Army.  BearingPoint recently announced the award of a blanket purchase agreement (BPA) by the Information Technology, E-Commerce and Commercial Contracting Center to provide RFID technical services, data integration software, and passive RFID middleware to meet Department of Defense (DoD) requirements. SUBSYSTEMs will team with BearingPoint under the BPA.

SUBSYSTEMs founder and CEO Sam Malhotra said, “This is an incredible stamp of approval for SUBSYSTEMs and spotlights our capabilities as a leading RFID hardware and software provider.  We’re in the enviable position of being able to enhance BearingPoint’s RFID capabilities through the use of our technology which is a win-win for our mutual Government customers.”

RFID is among SUBSYSTEMs Technologies, Inc. core competencies, having designed, developed and implemented an emergency personnel evacuation and tracking system for the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) systems center and is testing an RFID asset management system for supplies shipped to the Iraqi theatre.
