$72 million prime contract awarded to CACI


On Monday, CACI International announced the awarding of a $72 million prime contract by the U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). A new, performance-based contract that includes one base year, three option years and one award year, it requires CACI to provide technical support and services, expand support into new optional areas, and assist NCIS in the development of new processes, procedures, and program management principles.

As the primary law enforcement and counterintelligence arm of the Navy, NCIS works with agencies on all levels to investigate the most serious of crimes which include but are not limited to: terrorism, espionage, computer intrusion, homicide, rape, child abuse, arson, procurement fraud. NCIS also serves as the No. 1 source of security for the Navy worldwide.

“We are very pleased that this new work enables CACI to form a true partnership with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and help it deliver support and services that are mission and customer-service focused, ” said CACI President of U.S. Operations Bill Fairl. “We are extremely proud to be a member of the NCIS team.”

Servicing approximately 160 locations in addition to NCIS headquarters, CACI will support the service’s networks, servers, software engineering, application engineering, and all personal and network-wide communications.
