R.W. Beck Merges With SAIC


SAIC announced its plans to acquire the consultancy R.W. Beck by early August; details have yet to be released. The Seattle-based R.W. Beck Group works with clients in the energy, water, wastewater and solid waste industries. The SAIC contract will include the Beck Disaster Recovery Inc., an up-and-coming management consultancy primarily owned by R.W. Beck.

R.W. Beck will join the SAIC Infrastructure, Logistics and Product Solutions Group and Beck Disaster Recovery Inc. will work with the SAIC Homeland Protection and Preparedness division.

The CEO of R.W. Beck  Russ Stepp explained the decision to merge with SAIC because, “the development and rehabilitation of many aspects of our nation’s infrastructure (is) becoming increasingly critical.”
