QinetiQ North America won a $2.1 million contract with the US Navy. Qinetiq will develop and install a common robotic controller  for the US Naval Sea Systems Command.  The Marine Corps Warfighting Lab will use the control system specifically for the Tactical Networked Sensor Suite program. Development of the controller that will manipulate unmanned aerial and ground tactical vehicles using network sensors will take place in Dahlgren,  Virginia. The final product is designed to provide optimum mobility during missions at Marine platoon and squad levels.
