Alion wins $8.6 Million Navy Contract Modification

Alion Science and Technology Corp. has received an $8.6 million addition to a previously awarded contract through Naval Sea Systems Command to support the Navy’s Littoral Combat Ship program office.  Alion will support of LCS in program planning and management, and business and financial management planning and execution.

The award also includes systems engineering, test and evaluation engineering, life cycle engineering and support, logistics and operation support, configuration and data management engineering, and combat systems development.  The work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to finished by September.
