Robert Poulin, former president of digital technology firm Havas Helia,  has joined AEEC as the inaugural chief revenue officer of the Reston, Virginia-based professional services contractor.
AEEC said Oct. 7 said he will report directly to CEO Raj Patil and oversee brand visibility and expansion initiatives of the company and its Innovation Lab subsidiary.
Poulin will also be responsible for helping to identify new business opportunities in the company’s federal and commercial market areas.
“With his addition to our leadership team, we are looking to expand our footprint in the federal space and penetrate new commercial opportunities, as well as to increase awareness and attract resources and new partners and customers to our iLab, †Patil said.
Poulin has worked in various leadership positions at multiple domestic and international digital, software and technology firms during his more than 30-year career.
Before Havas Helia, he served as chief financial officer and CEO at agencyQ.
He previously worked as chief operating officer at evox, chief global officer at AKQA, president and COO at Magnet Interactive and CFO at Explore.
He also helped establish several education technology companies and currently is a member of the Harvard Business School Club’s board of directors.
AEEC provides big data, cloud computing, cybersecurity, knowledge management and engineering services and technology to public and private sector clients.
