Lockheed Martin Lands $914M FMS Deal to Update Singapore’s F-16s


F16FleetLockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) will update Singapore’s F-16 fleet under a $914 million sole-source contract as part of the U.S. Air Force‘s foreign military sales program.

The Defense Department said Tuesday the company will perform work in Texas through June 30, 2023.

Singapore has previously requested an upgrade in 2014 to bolster the combat effectiveness, reliability and supportability of 60 F-16 Block 52 aircraft.

That $2.43 billion FMS deal included associated equipment and parts such as radar, navigation, cueing and interrogator systems, missiles and other munitions as well as software updates and other services.
