CACI International (NYSE: CACI) has received a potential $149 million task order to work with the Defense Department‘s Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization on how to defend against asymmetric threats.

CACI said Wednesday it received the task order via the General Services Administration‘s Federal Systems Integration and Management Center to help JIEDDO’s Special Operations Forces Support Team counter violent extremist networks and improvised explosive devices.

“This win expands our ability to meet the needs of the entire Special Operations Global Network and provide security solutions to the intelligence community and other entities involved in responding to asymmetric threats, ” said Ken Asbury, president and CEO.

The company will provide SOF ST with material and nonmaterial services and both operations and intelligence integration personnel to help determine measures and address VEN vulnerabilities in support of the “Attack the Network” mission.
