Sally Wallace, formerly vice president of operations for the maritime and combat systems business of DRS Technologies, has been named president of the Finmeccanica subsidiary’s C4ISR business group.
She will oversee DRS’ intelligence, computing, networking and sensor fusion businesses, DRS said Wednesday.
William Lynn, CEO of DRS and Finmeccanica North America, said Wallace brings 20 years of defense industry experience to her new position.
Wallace began her career as a mechanical engineer at General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) Electric Boat subsidiary, then joined Eaton Corp. (NYSE: ETN) as business manager for the Navy controls division.
She joined DRS and served as VP and general manager of the maritime and combat systems group’s power and control technologies division prior to her new assignment as VP of business operations for that group.
