ICF said it has hired seven employees from Symbiotic Engineering, who will continue development work on the cloud computing-based Sustainability Information Management System platform.
ICF helps utilities use new data and analytics sources to address energy efficiency and greehouse address issues ranging from energy efficiency to greenhouse gas emissions, Chairman and CEO Sudhakar Kesavan said in a release.
Symbiotic’s management team will help ICF shape and carry out its utility analytics strategy with the SIMS platform as a delivery channel, Kesavan added.
“Strong market demand exists for integrated business intelligence, benchmarking, and forecasting, ” said Michael Whitaker, chief operating officer at Symbiotic.
