SAIC Books Spot on $500 Million Navy Project

SAIC (NYSE: SAI) secured a contract from Navy, Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic to provide audiovisual equipment.

The ID/IQ contract carries a one-year base term, four one-year options for a total ceiling value of $500 million for all awardees.

According to the firm, “SAIC will procure and deliver commercial off-the-shelf audiovisual products, related equipment and accessories to warfighters as required.”

“We look forward to leveraging the combined C4IT and logistics experience of SAIC to streamline SSC Atlantic equipment procurement, improve supply chain visibility and delivery quality, and provide cost-effective AV products through our existing web-based logistics systems, ” said Glenn San Giacomo, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.
