Celsion Corporation is an innovative oncology drug development company focused on improving treatment for those suffering with highly difficult forms of cancer. We are working to develop and commercialize targeted chemotherapeutic treatments based on our unique heat-activated liposomal technology.
Celsion Corporation has an immediate opening for a dynamic individual as an Analytical Chemist.
Major Job Duties Include:
• Perform pre-formulation and formulation studies for liquid and/or lyophilized formulations.
• Perform stability studies to evaluate the developed formulations. Analyze stability batches.
• Implement analytical methods such as HPLC, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, pH as well as other physical, chemical characterization methods.
• Develop and evaluate complex formulations for drug delivery systems.
• Perform studies required for support of clinical trials.
• Support scale-up and technology transfer activities.
• Ability to learn during all phases of development.
• Able to analyze, summarize, and interpret data.
Job Requirements:
A minimum of a BS in Pharmaceutics, Industrial Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering or related discipline is required. GLP and cGMP training is required.
