Both executives bring decades of experience overseeing modernization programs for public sector customers, the Washington, D.C.-headquartered data encryption provider said Wednesday.
Will Ackerly, co-founder and chief technology officer at Virtru, remarked that the addition of Longley and Green will enable the company to help the U.S. and its allies accelerate their adoption of data-centric security tools.
Longley most recently served as vice president of technical operations at Two Six Technologies. He is an adjunct professor of computer science at the University of Mary Washington and an artificial intelligence and automation consultant at ZenithFlow.
Green was director of federal and customer advocate at Confluent and VP of the public sector and DevSecOps advocate at Sonatype.
