Defense technology firm Vibrint has appointed Chris Oliver, a national security technology executive, as general manager of products

The company said Tuesday Oliver will oversee planning, operations and expansion efforts for Vibrint’s national security-focused products business.

“Chris brings deep experience supporting national security missions and understands what it takes to deliver solutions that are both rapid and resilient,” said Vibrint CEO Tom Lash. “He has a clear perspective on what works in dynamic, complex and critical operational environments — and how to build teams and partner ecosystems that can move quickly while scaling to meet evolving mission demands.”

Who Is Chris Oliver?

Oliver has over 30 years of experience expanding technology-driven businesses within the national security market.

He previously served as CEO of ID Technologies and led the company through its 2022 acquisition by CACI International.

He also held senior leadership positions at Intelligent Decisions, where he supported corporate growth initiatives through organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Oliver said he plans to help advance Vibrint’s product development and market delivery efforts.

“When you’re building products for national security customers, you don’t get the luxury of trial and error — they have to work,” Oliver said. “I’m excited to help accelerate Vibrint’s product engine and gear up solutions to market at a pace and volume that meet mission demands head-on.”

What Does Vibrint Do?

Vibrint develops technology platforms for defense and intelligence missions, with capabilities spanning cybersecurity and quantum modernization, advanced analytics, high-performance computing, digital engineering and secure mission systems integration.

The Annapolis Junction, Maryland-based company supports national security customers from strategy through deployment and is hiring more than 100 engineers, cybersecurity professionals and mission specialists across Maryland, Virginia, Texas and Utah.

In recent months, Vibrint has continued to expand its footprint and leadership team, including the opening of a Reston, Virginia office; the appointments of Skip Maselli as vice president of business development for the Virginia region and John Martin as VP of business development for the Maryland region; and the acquisition of Ampsight to expand its explainable artificial intelligence capabilities.
