Vectrus (NYSE: VEC) has won a one-year, $97.3 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide operations support services at Keesler Air Force Base in Mississippi.
The Defense Departmentsaid Wednesday Vectrus will support the military base in 11 functional areas that include community services, emergency response management, grounds maintenance, human resource support, installation and mission operations management, installation and facility engineering, vertical transportation equipment and weather services.
The Air Force Installation Contracting Agency received four bids for the single-award contract via a competitive source selection process.
DoD noted the service branch will obligate $2.5 million in fiscal 2017 operations and maintenance funds at the time of award.
Vectrus is scheduled to finish contract work by May 31, 2018.
