U.S. Special Operations Command has awarded Arlington, Virginia-based Technology Service Corp. a Small Business Innovative Research Phase III indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with a ceiling of $400 million for intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance services and supplies. The ordering period runs from Sept. 1, 2025, through Aug. 31, 2030, with work expected to conclude by the end of that term.
2021 Multi-Intelligence Contract Award
The new contract builds on previous SBIR awards from SOCOM. In August 2021, TSC secured a $230 million contract for aircraft, turrets and spares to expand multi-intelligence capability. The agreement carried a six-month base period and three one-year options and was funded at the task order level.
Earlier UAS Development Contract
In April 2019, SOCOM selected TSC for a potential $49 million contract to develop a long-endurance unmanned aircraft system. The cost-plus-fixed-fee IDIQ award was also made under the SBIR Phase III program and funded with fiscal 2019 operations and maintenance appropriations.
All three contracts were issued by the U.S. Special Operations Command headquarters at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida.
