Unisys Launches Cybersecurity Research Fund to Honor Veteran CTO; PV Puvvada Quoted

Unisys (NYSE: UIS) has established a fund that seeks to support research efforts focused on cybersecurity and other emerging technologies.

The company said Friday the Mark L. Cohn Research Fund will provide grants to researchers from nonprofit organizations, graduate and post-graduate programs to back projects that may benefit the industry and the government.

The charitable fund was named after Mark Cohn, a more than three-decade Unisys veteran who served as chief technology officer of the company™s federal business until his passing on July 14.

The Professional Services Council Foundation helped establish the fund and will form an advisory board to help recommend research topics that could be funded through the initiative.
