The U.S. Navy has awarded Ultra Electronics 3eTI a potential four-year, $82 million contract to continue to provide platforms designed to monitor and control the service branch™s critical infrastructure.
The cost-plus-fixed-fee contract has a one-year base term valued at approximately $48.5 million and covers endpoint security, industrial control systems and intrusion detection tools, Ultra Electronics said Monday.
Rakesh Sharma, CEO of Ultra Electronics, said the contract seeks to reflect the Defense Department™s confidence in the company™s cyber-physical network platforms designed to ensure energy security.
The company will perform work in Washington, California and Hawaii through September 2017 and work could extend through September 2020 if all options are exercised.
Ultra Electronics 3eTI provides cybersecurity, communications and wireless platforms for government, defense and industrial markets.
