United Launch Alliance has been awarded a five-year, $156.7M contract modification to produce a Delta IV Heavy rocket to help the National Reconnaissance Office carry out NRO’s Launch Mission Three.
ULA will provide launch vehicle production services for the final planned NRO mission under the firm-fixed-price contract as part of the U.S. Air Force’s National Security Space Launch program, the Department of Defense said Wednesday.
The Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center will obligate $144.6M in fiscal 2019 missile procurement funds at the time of award. DoD noted the latest modification brings the original contract’s cumulative value to $467.5M and runs through January 2024.
