Lynn Moore, president and CEO of Tyler, said in a statement published Thursday the deal aligns with the company™s long-term strategy to build up its current offerings with the addition of complementary products and supports growth objectives.

Tyler announced on Feb. 1 that it agreed to pay approximately $185M in cash to buy MicroPact in a push to expand its presence in the federal market.
Herndon, Va.-based MicroPact was established in 1997 and operates with 469 employees providing business process management and case management applications for government clients, including NASA and the departments of Justice and the Treasury.
