Todd Morris Named NEC National Security Systems President

NEC Corp. of America has selected Todd Morris as the new president of NEC National Security Systems, effective immediately.

The technology integrator said Monday Morris will replace Kathleen Kiernan, who is set to retire on June 13 after leading the FOCI-mitigated NEC subsidiary for four years.

The seasoned executive will bring a proven track record of driving growth and innovation, supporting government technology missions. He will leverage three decades of experience in federal contracting, specializing in IT, cybersecurity, intelligence and management consulting.

Career Highlights

The NEC NSS president previously served as CEO of Fusion Technology for over three years, spearheading a team of over 150 personnel responsible for delivering cybersecurity, biometric services and security engineering to federal law enforcement, homeland security and the Department of Defense.

He also served as vice president of homeland services at MetroStar after spending over five years at Maximus, where he was VP of sales for homeland security and managing director of national security. Morris was a long-time General Dynamics Information Technology executive with over 26 years in various vice president roles. He was also president of ScienceServer and a software engineer at Interactive Television Company.

“Todd’s track record of growth, operational excellence and mission-focused leadership makes him the ideal choice to lead NEC NSS through its next chapter,” said Chris Jackson, president and CEO of NEC. “His deep understanding of the federal landscape and proven ability to scale businesses will be invaluable as we continue to deliver advanced technology solutions to U.S. government partners.”

Kierman will guide Morris through the transition period and remain an executive adviser for the NEC NSS.
